The history of the kin's settlement Belogury began in 1999 when the Belikh family moved to the village of Kruglikovo with the aim of establishing their kin's domain in this area. A little later, like-minded people began to arrive, and on June 5, 2001, a full-fledged kin's settlement appeared.
Today, the Belogury settlement is home to 22 families, with about seven staying there during the winter. The residents include both retirees and young people who have found not only peace and quiet here, but also opportunities to earn a living.
“We don't live a hermit's life. We are still young and active. It's just that our priorities and understanding of quality of life have changed. If we used to think that a good life was about having certain things, such as a nice car or apartment, now we understand that it's something completely different,” - says Roman, a resident of the kin's settlement.
The kin's settlement is located 170 km from Novosibirsk. It is surrounded by rich nature: birch, aspen, spruce, fir, larch, and cedar trees. The land is rich in a variety of herbs, mushrooms, and berries.
The residents of Belogury are people of different faiths, ages, and professions. Everyone finds their own way of self-realization and earning a living: some create healing herbal teas, make jam from pine cones, and others share their knowledge by working as teachers at the local school.
The kin's settlement strives for self-sufficiency and sustainable development. Residents jointly decide on issues of improvement, construction, and leisure activities. Holidays, festivals, and master classes are held, where you can exchange experiences, learn new things, and simply have a good time with like-minded people.
Belogury is a kin's settlement for dreamers who are looking for the time, opportunity, and inspiration to bring their desires and dreams to life. Living far from the noise of the city helps them do just that.
