How was held the festival "Family traditions"

Imagine a place where, for a few days, the lines between “us” and “them” blur, and the word “family” takes on a much broader meaning than just an entry in a passport. This was exactly the atmosphere that reigned from July 14 to 19 in the kin’s settlement Raduzhnyye Kurorty, where the “Family Traditions” festival took place.

How was held the festival

It wasn’t just another outdoor concert, but a space where everyone – from toddlers to adults – found something to nourish the soul. During the day, the air was filled with the clatter of craft tools, the laughter of children playing active games, and the melodies to which people danced in circles. Parents and children here didn’t just relax side by side; they created together: making folk-style dolls, learning a new craft, or simply racing each other.

How was held the festival

The festival offered an opportunity to feel part of something bigger. Here, people who were meeting for the first time quickly found common ground because they were united by shared values. Instead of small talk, there were deep conversations during the lectures. How can you find common ground with children without breaking their spirit? What should a home be like to become a true stronghold for the family? And perhaps the most important question: how can we come to terms with ourselves so we can live in harmony with the world?

How was held the festival

It was amazing how quickly a sense of community developed here. People who were strangers just yesterday were sharing their innermost thoughts today, helping one another, and feeling like one big family. And most precious of all, that feeling didn’t fade away with the festival’s final day. Participants took home not only crafts and vibrant photos, but also new connections that are blossoming into true friendships. “Family Traditions” wasn’t about reminiscing about the past. It was about creating the present and laying the groundwork for a warm, bright future for themselves and their children.

How was held the festival

This is precisely what makes “Family Traditions” so special: the festival doesn’t end with the final chord of the closing circle dance. It takes root in the daily lives of every participant. Back in their city apartments, people continue to carry this light within them – some begin gathering more often around the dinner table without gadgets, while others make a habit of taking evening walks or engaging in creative activities together, inspired by what they saw in the kin’s settlement Raduzhnyye Kurorty.
