An Autumn 'glow-up' from the inside out: cedar nut oil enriched with sea buckthorn to combat a dull complexion

Fall is a time when the skin loses its radiance due to stress and a lack of light. Instead of relying on surface exfoliants, it’s worth turning to nutraceuticals that work at the level of cellular metabolism. Cedar nut oil enriched with sea buckthorn is a complex biochemical blend capable of regulating the skin’s condition from within.

The lack of light in the fall and reduced sebaceous gland activity often lead to dehydration, which cosmetics can only mask temporarily. Cedar nut oil enriched with sea buckthorn addresses the problem from within, as the lipids in its composition mimic the skin’s natural protective barrier. This reduces transepidermal water loss, which directly affects the skin’s firmness and elasticity.

Cellular metabolism in fall: How to restore the skin’s radiance from within

Cedar nut oil contains squalene and oleic acid – two key lipids that play an important role in maintaining the skin’s hydrolipid balance. Squalene moisturizes cell membranes and smooths the skin’s micro-relief[1]. Oleic acid, meanwhile, stimulates cell renewal and regulates sebum production, preventing excess oiliness in the T-zone and flakiness on the cheeks. As a result, pores don’t become clogged[2], and the skin’s texture is smoothed without the need for harsh exfoliation.

And sea buckthorn components, such as the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, neutralize oxidative stress caused by residual UV radiation. Phytosterols, in turn, reduce inflammation, which gives the face a gray, tired appearance[3]. An added benefit is improved microcirculation: sea buckthorn contains rutin, which strengthens blood vessels, reducing dark circles under the eyes and restoring a healthy glow.

Synergy of Ingredients

The combination of cedar nut oil and sea buckthorn enhances the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, E, K), which play a role in collagen synthesis. This is important for skin firmness: after two weeks, a lifting effect is noticeable without injections. It’s important to take the oil in the morning, as it enhances the photostability of melanin, reducing the risk of pigmentation after summer outings.

A 3–4-week course yields lasting results when combined with adequate water intake. Remember that this product does not replace your skincare routine, but it makes it more effective: creams and serums work more deeply when cells are not dehydrated. Noticeable results appear faster than when using only topical products, since internal support addresses the root cause of dullness.
