The Slavic Charity Festival of Folk Traditions and Culture Novoye izmereniye was held on April 19, 2025. This day became a real holiday of unity, creativity and kindness, gathering people of different ages and interests, united by love for Slavic roots and the desire to do good. Participants of the festival came with their families, friends, and relatives.
In the program of the festival everyone found something to their liking. Children and adults enthusiastically participated in master classes, mastering ancient crafts and creating unique souvenirs with their own hands. There was also a master class for happy and harmonious family relationships. Participants played different roles both in real life and in the show-training. Yoga classes allowed participants to find harmony with themselves and the world around them, and round dances filled with energy and joy united everyone in a single dance of life.
Interactive platforms offered the guests to plunge into the world of Slavic games and amusements, to learn more about folk traditions and rituals. The festival ended with a heartfelt concert featuring folk songs and modern compositions inspired by Slavic motifs.
Masters of folk crafts shared the secrets of their skills. For example, Alexei, a resident of the kin’s settlement Vedrussiya with 10 years of experience, presented at the festival his handmade handicraft product - ecologically clean foodstuffs grown and prepared by himself. And the designer of Slavic clothes Ekaterina, in turn, shared with the participants the story of creation of her store of authentic Slavic outfits. In addition, each participant could try to create Slavic boho - clothes from natural fabrics, taking into account the Slavic cultural features.
The festival was filled with a special meaning thanks to the charitable mission. During the event a fundraiser was organized to help children with cancer. Each participant could contribute to the common cause, giving hope for recovery to those who need it so much. The Novoye izmereniye Festival became not only a celebration of culture and creativity, but also a symbol of mercy and compassion.
