The first ethno-festival “The Sun of Ladamir” was held in the kin’s settlement Ladamir. This is a new festival, which took place on June 21, 2025 on the festival glade of the kin’s settlement.
The date of the festival was chosen not by chance: June 21 is the day of the summer solstice. Beautiful rituals associated with water and other natural elements. The theme of love, meetings, and the creation of married couples. Mysterious search for happiness in the image of a fern blooming on this night. Songs, dances, games. All this made the holiday one of the most colorful festive days of the annual cycle.
The main idea of the festival is to maintain Russian folk culture, strengthen the human connection with nature, popularization of ecological lifestyle, and development of creative potential.
The program included creative performances from residents of the kin’s settlement and invited guests, master classes by craftsmen of the kin’s settlement and other craftsmen, a small fair of products created by the hands of the Ladamir settlement residents and not only, dance and round dance program, a platform for communicating with animals and other activities.

For example, the festival featured the workshop of stone master Ekaterina Panova, where participants could find unique handmade jewelry for themselves.
“We realize that each stone is not just a mineral. It is a carrier of history, energy and symbolism. .Over the years our workshop has become a real laboratory for the study and processing of stones. We carefully extract them from the bowels of the earth, studying their properties and possibilities. Each piece of jewelry created by us is imbued with love and care, as we understand that each product finds its owner, to whom it will bring joy and harmony”. – says Ekaterina Panova.
The festival was created by the residents of the kin’s settlement. Moreover, interested children also took part in the organization, and some of them even showed initiative and wanted to hold a master class on origami making on their own.
“Although the festival was not of a huge scale, it was very heartwarming! Sincere gratitude to the organizers and all the people who took part! It is hard to find so many smiling and kind people in one place. And the most valuable was the impressions and reactions of children, who played lapta with passion. Master classes on flanking and blacksmithing impressed my son so much that he wanted to do it too. I wish the festival prosperity and expansion!” – shares Tatiana Faizullina, a participant of the festival.
