Kin's Settlement «Bolshaya Medveditsa»: festivals, feasts and children's camp

«Bolshaya Medveditsa» is the kin's settlement in the Chelyabinsk region. Its area is more than 350 hectares, and there are 197 plots here. Most of them are already inhabited!

The settlement was founded in 2005-2006. For 15 years of existence, residents have managed to create an excellent infrastructure. There is a school, sports and playgrounds, an amphitheater, and a tea house. The central place of the settlement that occupies more than 14 hectares, is intended for meetings and numerous events taking place at «Bolshaya Medveditsa». Such events take place here very often: residents are happy to host like-minded people and those who dream of becoming their neighbors.

The settlement annually celebrates the days of the summer solstice and the equinox. These are always bright, exciting and happy holidays with numerous games, dances, songs and feasts.

The common central space of the settlement regularly becomes a platform for thematic seminars and retreats. The infrastructure is suitable for very large-scale meetings. There are guest houses, the stage, the shared kitchen, the dining room, and the bathhouse. Not only the organizers and guests of various festivals come here, but also ordinary guests who can come here at any time to take a break from the bustle of the city and enjoy the closeness of nature. Also, the residents of the settlement themselves organize themed weekends dedicated to a healthy lifestyle. Long walks, master classes on various topics, healing bodily and spiritual practices, and communication with like-minded people are a great way to recharge and feel harmony.

A happy childhood is one of the priorities of the residents of «Bolshaya Medveditsa». Every summer, boys and girls aged 6-16 come to the children's camp of the settlement. Under the careful guidance of mentors and teachers, they engage in creativity and enjoy freedom in an environmentally friendly place. The lake “Bolshie Allaki” is located near the settlement, so children swim here and explore the surrounding rocks, spending time in close contact with nature.

Returning to the traditional way of life does not mean abandoning modern technologies - the team of programmers is organized here. It accepts those who want to move to their land and at the same time build a career in the field of IT technologies. Even a person who has no experience as a programmer can join the team. The main condition for newcomers is the willingness to build their own kin's domain and share the ideals of the residents of «Bolshaya Medveditsa».
