Lyubov Rytikova is a resident of the kin’s domain “Severnoye Siyaniye”, located in the Pskov Region on sandy loam and loamy soils. The previous owners left, saying, “The soil is poor; nothing grows here.”

“Now, everything you could ever dream of grows on our plot, from delicious peppers, tomatoes, and eggplants – which I grow exclusively in open ground – to watermelons, sweet cherries, mulberries, and apricots, which are very rare in our region,” Lyubov explains.

After moving to her kin’s domain, Lyubov sees her mission as ensuring that everyone can easily grow a bountiful natural garden and vegetable patch and feed their family with healthy, eco-friendly fruits and vegetables. Healthy produce from her plot, grown with love, means good health for her family and children. And she gladly shares her knowledge and experience on her blog.

“I want everyone to feel that living off the land is very interesting and wonderful, and that growing your own fruits and vegetables is very enjoyable and not at all difficult if you do it in harmony with nature,” shares the owner of the kin’s domain.

In addition to her personal blog, Lyubov teaches courses and offers consultations on northern gardening and vegetable farming, helping people in northern latitudes grow southern fruits, berries, and vegetables, such as watermelons and peaches. This is her greatest passion and the main focus of her work.

Her approach is based on a deep understanding of natural processes and the adaptation of farming techniques to the conditions of the northern latitudes. Lyubov doesn’t just share recipes; she teaches people to see the potential in every plot of land, even those once considered hopeless. She demonstrates how, by applying the principles of permaculture and natural farming, one can achieve bountiful harvests while minimizing labor costs and environmental impact.

“I always say that there is no such thing as infertile soil or a bad plot of land: you can create a beautiful garden of paradise absolutely anywhere. I say this with complete confidence because I’ve learned it through my own experience,” Lyubov is convinced.

This experience inspires many who strive for self-sufficiency and a closer connection with nature, showing that dreams of having one’s own garden, full of fruits exotic to the region, are entirely achievable.

The “Severnoye Siyaniye” is not just the kin’s domain of the Rytikov family, but a living example of how even the most challenging conditions can be transformed into a source of abundance and health!
