The Grishin family moved to the kin's settlement Big Dipper in 2013.
“My husband and I met during our student years. Even then, we decided that we wanted to live in our own house on our own land. We love nature! We chose, planned, and thought about buying a plot outside the city. But then, a mutual friend told us about the kin's settlements, and we became interested. In the summer, after graduating from university, we came to our plot for the first time and started building. In November, we moved into our small but cozy and familiar house with the smell of smoke in the morning from the burning wood in the iron stove. That's how our new life together with my husband in the kin's settlement began!” – shares Ilzida Grishina.

But the move did not go as smoothly as the couple would have liked: lack of work and financial problems, mistakes in choosing a plot and building a house, and many other difficulties. Nevertheless, the couple did not give up on their dream of living in the kin's settlement and have come a long way, which they now share on their family blog.

The Grishins' blog is about real life: early mornings, weekdays and holidays, raising children, growing crops with their own hands, creating a cozy home, and the story of their move to the kin's domain.

“Our blog is an open door into our lives. We believe that living in harmony with nature, raising children among forests and fields, eating our own vegetables, and breathing deeply is not just a dream, but a reality that we want to share.” – say the couple.
Anatoly works as a programmer, while Ilzida devotes herself to raising their two daughters. The couple also grow fruit and vegetables on their kin's domain.

Their vegetarian lifestyle occupies a special place in the Grishins' lives. They consciously gave up meat, believing that eating plant-based foods helps them be closer to nature and maintain the health of the whole family. Growing their own vegetables and fruits on their land has become not only a way to provide themselves with quality food, but also an important part of their philosophy – to live in harmony with the earth without harming animals or the environment.

This philosophy permeates every aspect of the Myagchenkov family's life. They believe that true wealth lies not in material goods, but in harmony with the surrounding world and in the ability to pass this harmony on to future generations. Their home, filled with warmth from wood-burning stoves and light from the sun, has become a symbol of their desire for simplicity and naturalness. Every product they create with their own hands carries a piece of this love for the land and concern for health.
