It is a place that is home. It is an extension of the home beyond its walls, into an area that is not too small to spread out, but not too large to require personal attention in every corner. The average size is 1-2 hectares.

It is a multifunctional space, the main purpose of which is life. Human life, simple, ordinary life on earth, in connection with the earth, nature, all living things. It is not a commercial project, not an agricultural one, it is simply for living. Just as one lives in an apartment or a house, so one lives on a kin's domain.
In such a place, you can do a lot, you can improve a lot. The investment of labor and attention will accumulate year after year, and then generation after generation. And such places do exist now, places where families live for generations, settle them, and make them their home. Few of them have survived, they are very cozy, and they often attract tourists because it is good there.
Imagine your family has a house covering a hectare! The nearest neighbor is a hundred meters away. A feeling of space, freedom, sky, air. Your house could have its own small forest, a small pond where you can swim, not to mention a garden, vegetable beds for various experiments, and your own workshop. And it's all yours, and it's something you can improve and enhance, something you can pass on to your children and grandchildren.

An apartment can also be a good thing to pass on or sell; an apartment is capital, an economic asset. A kin's domain is not; its main value is not material. Its value is memory, a connection to one's roots, interaction with a living space. The value of a kin's domain increases with each generation that lives in it.
Life on a kin's domain is a different way of thinking, a special philosophy. It is family, the value of children, a relationship with the land and nature, independence, enterprise, the development of abilities and talents, the opportunity to be oneself.
In addition to the place itself, the land, the surroundings, the people, and the neighbors are important. The best option is if they also create their own kin's domain. A special social environment is formed, and common issues regarding infrastructure, security, culture, rules, and norms are decided jointly.
The price of creating kin's domain for society is to allow families to live on their land, not to interfere, and to guarantee their inviolability.

Between 6,000 and 40,000 people in Russia are already establishing their own kin's domains. There are some very successful examples. New kin's settlements are emerging, abandoned villages are being revived, local production is developing, and children are being born. Where there used to be emptiness, there are now workshops, amateur theaters of international caliber, lots of young people, and a buzz of activity – it's already happening, but it's not very noticeable on a national scale.
Very few people decide to change their lives. Most people simply do not believe that it is possible. Many people are not ready or are afraid. Some are afraid of a new lifestyle, others are afraid of financial problems and difficulties. Many believe that a kin's domain is only for the rich.
In fact, everyone has the opportunity, and the only reason is motivation.

We are creating our kin's domain in the kin's settlement Lyubimovka. In fact, this village is still being formed, but this stage is the most interesting!
We started by allocating a plot of land in the village and began to develop it. Soon, it became clear that this was already part of our kin's domain, a kind of enclave — a house-workshop open to guests. A name was born for this place — Ivushki.
We started by planting trees, many of which we grew from seeds ourselves. Many of the trees already have their own history and are important and meaningful to us. Our approach to space is the same as in the kin's domain. It is even very convenient when the guest area and workshop are located away from the future living area.

So, we are currently living in a proto kin’s domain, a house-workshop, which will later become a guest house. We plan to start developing the main part of the kin’s domain by the end of this year. And the first thing to do in development is observation. We are very happy that we already have the opportunity to live here and observe, as well as develop our business and our space.
As for the financial side, we are starting almost from scratch. There is no need to wait if you want to live on a kin's domain, if you want to change your life — now is the time.

There is a lot of talk now about people returning to the land, about the revival of depressed areas, and about many things that are right in some ways. But at the same time, they sometimes speak disparagingly about existing kin's domains. This is strange, since this is the only project at the conceptual level that has been implemented and has worked. There are simply no other alternative examples of comparable scale.
Kin's domains are a new way of life. The effect on civilization will be similar to when people first started moving to cities, encountering something completely new, striking, and unprecedented. Now, people from cities will move to kin's domains and kin's settlements.

Our prediction is that in the next hundred years, 10% of people from cities will create kin's domains. And as was the case with cities in the past, these will mainly be the most active people. A kin's domain has an economic and social foundation and provides people with the values and opportunities that are most relevant in the new world of globalization and artificial intelligence.
